Erik Anderson has chosen Mike Leigh’s Another Year as the top film of the 63rd Cannes Film Festival. Another Year was grabbed by Sony Pictures Classics and will debut in the United States sometime in the fall. Closely behind Another Year was Tender Son, a Hungarian film that was largely maligned by the critics at Cannes.
