2009 ICS Award Winners

Honoring films released in the USA in 2008.

The International Cinephile Society has named Mike Leigh’s Happy-Go-Lucky the Best Film of 2008. Included below are the ICS lists for Top 10 Films of 2008 and Top 10 Films Not In the English Language, as well as the winners in several acting, writing, and technical categories. Both Ari Folman’s animated documentary Waltz With Bashir and Gus Van Sant’s biopic Milk received the most accolades, with three awards each.
