Like any other respectable group of film aficionados, the International Cinephile Society has our end-of-year awards in which we choose who excelled in film in 2016.  We have always been a bit of an outlier in what we award, but we try to put to the forefront films that may be overlooked by other awards groups. Which isn’t to say that some of their winners might not be among ours… The ICS awards will be decided by a large voting body, which we hope comes close to 100 voting members this year.

Voting for the first round of the 2016 ICS Awards has started, in which the nominees will be decided. These nominees will be revealed on the 7th of February. The second round will result in our actual winners, who will be revealed on the 21st of February.
